09 Skirts. Part (1)

Thinking on buyings that mini skirt for the Spring and Summer? Just wait a minute and take a glance at some of Lanvin’s skirts for a better inspiration.

On this SS 09 collection, Alber Elbaz packed us for a treat. The collection includes strong but simple peices in gorgeous colors ranging from satin gold to silky red. The collection is deffiently easy to wear and would look great on women who want comfortable yet fashion-forward clothing. However there is something else that caught my eye; the classic Fall pencil skirt has now evolved with the seasons into

… the tulip skirt. This new repeating trend, is a great way to look fresh out on the streets.

Worn in silk, cotton, or satin this skirt can be both fliratious and sophisticated at the same time.  The length varies depending upon the skirt, but mostly sticks to the approximate length of the mid-thigh or the length of a mini skirt.

The seductive countours of the pencil skirt have been shortned without any cut back on the sophistication that evrery women admires. Look at the way some celebrities wear their tulip skirts out on the streets.

On the left is Lindsey Price wearing a satin black, tulip skirt belted at the waist, and a black top to even out the shiloutte. On the right we have Maria Sherapova Wearing a black tulip skirt with a soft draped, white top.

Over all, these looks hint at  soft, femine countours while maintaing the character and elegance of the Fall season.
